At the risk of sounding random, I have to talk about spinach today !
(Yes, the angels talk about food, too!)
One of the most frequent things that angels and spirit guides pass along to my clients is the need to eat leafy greens, specifically, spinach.I've always wondered why spinach? I mean I know it's a green and it's in some way good for the body, but I never really delved into why it's so highly recommended from the celestial realms!
So, today, the answer dropped into my email inbox from cyberspace!
I had to chuckle at that. I get these emails every day from the Doctor Oz show, and maybe once every 10 days, I will open one up.
The angels kept nudging me this morning, to open today's Oz email newlsletter about magnesium and fatigue, (which I blessedly don't have an issue with) and to keep paging through the 11 pages in the mini-article.
As I paged through the blurbs/pictures, I kept hearing 'spinach, spinach'. Forgive me if I sound ignorant, but I didn't even know there was magnesium in spinach!
On page 10, low and behold, there was spinach staring at me (in a virtual way!)
So, here's Dr. Oz's info about spinach:
"Spinach - Half a cup of boiled spinach contains 78 mg of magnesium. Cooked spinach is also rich in calcium. Raw spinach is still good for you, but cooked spinach makes it easier for your body to absorb the minerals it contains."
"Do you feel irritable, weak and exhausted all the time? You may be suffering from a magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is a crucial, but frequently overlooked, part of a balanced diet. It’s crucial in more than 300 bodily functions – many of which give you energy. Get your daily dose of this fatigue-fighting mineral by eating five servings of these magnesium-rich foods a day." -www.doctoroz.com
Now it all makes sense!
Most of my clients tell me how drained and tired they are and the angels/spirit guides are giving them, (via me as the messenger) , a natural, healthy solution!
Please note, that Dr. Oz also recommends oatmeal, bananas, raisin bran, whole wheat bread, brown rice, kidney beans, black beans, etc. for obtaining magnesium as well. If you're fatigued, you may want to check out the food solutions offered at his website.
I also found the info below from www.cookingnook.com:
